Come say hello to Tech City

Wednesday the 4th of November is your chance to meet the team from Tech City. Tech City is a London based publicly, funded non-profit team with a focus on creating the optimum conditions for digital technology businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive across the UK.

Tech City are responsible for the annual Tech Nation report that provides an overview of the UK tech industry. The event, held at RookieOven on the 4th of November, is an opportunity to showcase the best of the Glasgow tech community to Tech City in anticipation of the 2016 Tech Nation report.

About RookieOven

RookieOven is a grassroots initiative run by local startup founders. It started as a local meetup with the aim of bringing the disparate Glasgow technology talent together to create a community. It has now grown to become the Co-working Space which offers affordable and flexible desk space for young tech and creative businesses. The space is home to exciting local companies such as Rawtech.io, Insurance By Jack, Add Jam and FarmGeek.

Aside from desks RookieOven has an events space, pool table, xbox and quite possibly the fastest internet connection in the city thanks to their connectivity partner Telcom (400mb up and down). It’s worth coming along on the 4th even if it’s just to see the space.
